Post Cycle Therapy (PCT) is the protocol followed after completing an anabolic steroid cycle to restore the body's natural hormonal balance. Exogenous steroids suppress the hypothalamic-pituitary-testicular axis (HPTA), and without proper PCT, natural testosterone production may take months to recover — resulting in muscle loss, low libido, depression, and fatigue.

Effective PCT typically involves SERMs such as Clomiphene Citrate (Clomid) and Tamoxifen Citrate (Nolvadex), which stimulate LH and FSH production to restart endogenous testosterone synthesis.
